Enhanced Composites’ 2×2 Twill 3K Prepreg Carbon Fibre 200gsm – SE84LV sold in Australia, is built for high-performance applications. It features a premium 3K carbon fibre twill weave pre-impregnated with Gurit’s SE84LV epoxy system. This system ensures consistent results with a controlled 45–50% resin content, delivering repeatable and strong composite parts.

The twill weave offers excellent drapeability. It conforms easily to complex shapes while providing a clean and professional surface finish. Compared to plain weaves, twill delivers slightly better strength and a distinctive aesthetic.

SE84LV is a toughened epoxy prepreg system. It cures at 80°C and can be processed faster at 120°C. Its low viscosity and long outlife (up to 8 weeks at room temperature) make it ideal for both small workshops and production environments.

This material is used in motorsport, aerospace, marine, UAV, defence, and automotive builds. It performs well with vacuum bagging, autoclave, or hot press methods. Additionally, it bonds effectively to core materials like foam, balsa, and honeycomb when paired with adhesive film such as Gurit SA 80.

Handling and Storage

Store in a sealed polyethylene bag in a dry environment below -18°C. Before use, allow the roll to thaw to room temperature to avoid moisture condensation.
