Our Flash Breaker Tape, also known as composites release tape is manufactured from the highest quality, high temperature tolerance PET and features a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive which will not leave marks or residue on a mould.

High-temperature, general purpose pressure sensitive PET tape with silicone adhesive. This versatile, easy to remove tape can be used for a wide range of applications in composites including taping mould halves to prevent flash, blanking off holes/details, creating non-stick barriers and holding consumables in place.

• Flashtape 1 is made of polyester tape backed with a fully solidied pressure silicone adhesive or with an acrylic rubber adhesive.
• Flashtape 1 is commonly used to keep all bagging materials plies in place like peel ply, release film and breathers.
• Flashtape 1 is also used to protect tooling parts and some component areas from flush of resin.
