2×2 Twill Fibreglass Cloth – 165gsm

In contrast to plain weave fabric, the 2×2 twill weave fibreglass material ensures significantly better drapability. The easily formable reinforcing fabric has a diagonal ridge. The E-glass fibres used are heat resistant and stable.

This weave is more pliable than plain weave and improves the folding, hanging and draping capacity allowing better coverage over curved surfaces.

2×2 twill fibreglass is the standard glass fabric used in light aircraft applications. It is also widely used for making moulds, providing structure behind the finer weave surface fabrics. Perfect for model building, Aviation, boat building, surfboards, kayaks etc.
