Honeycomb Orange/Black Carbon Hybrid 240gsm

This hexagonal carbon fibre will add a unique aesthetic to a variety of applications like furniture or car panels. The hexagonal “honeycomb” feature will not affect the strength or stiffness of the material.

This very special fabric uses genuine 3k carbon fibre interwoven with a bright orange aramid to create an amazing fabric that can be used as the top layer for your carbon fibre project.

Typical Uses: This special coloured fabric can be used in just the same way as standard carbon fibre and will bring a stunning and unique appearance to any project. It is suitable for use in vacuum bagging, wet-lay, vacuum bagging and resin infusion manufacture as well as for use as a single surface layer where parts are being made to look like carbon fibre (skinning). Many high-performance, high-impact applications can benefit from these materials such as boat building, automotive, military, racing, sporting goods and high strength panelling.

The bright orange will darken to a darker shade, once it gets in contact with the resin.
